So, by all intents and purposes it has been a long time since I updated my DA. I have been busy, extortionately busy, to put it bluntly, I have been learning more than I ever imagined it was possible to learn in six months, medical school moves at pace. I've spent the last six months with my hands in dead bodies, learning the names of things that I didn't even know existed, the pathology of viruses that can make you bleed to death, how to comfort someone who is seriously injured and how to drink your own weight in alcohol. In all seriousness it has been the most enjoyable and the most emotional six months that I can remember so far.

But throughout it all I haven't forgotten my art or my writing, if anything it is more important to me than ever. The only problem I have found is in finding time to sit down and upload it, which sounds like a pitiful excuse. I have been creeping around on Tumblr for quite a while now as I have IRL friends who are on Tumblr but after exams I'm hoping that I'll have more time to upload again. One thing I will say is that the quality of my art has increased drastically and that most of the drawings here are not really relative of what I can do anymore.

Another quite significant thing to mention is that some of the drawings here now only remain as digital copies. Unfortunate things happen and many of my larger pieces were destroyed, the fact that some of them remain at all is a miracle in itself. But I shan't dwell on the details of that, it just spurs me to create more.

I'll put the facts down here. I've decided to illustrate the book that I'm writing, infact, rather foolishly for my academia drowned brain, I've decided to create a novella first, a fully illustrated novella...what am I doing to myself?
